How the numbers are kept honest

Every rate on this site is taken from the platform's own published fee documentation and reviewed each quarter, with the review date printed on the tool page. Where a platform has regional variation — payment processing being the obvious one — the calculator lets you pick your country instead of assuming the US rate applies to you.

If you find a rate that has changed, the review date at the bottom of the page tells you how stale it might be, and we would rather hear about it than leave it wrong.
